Although booking a dive trip direct with an operator is becoming ever more popular, organising everything yourself can be a hefty job. You have to ask all the right questions, ensure you have the right papers and coordinate every aspect involved in travelling abroad. Some people love doing this (us included!) but sometimes the services of a good travel agent cannot be beaten.

Specialist dive agents have access to information not available to the public and they can be incredibly knowledgeable on the regions they promote. They will also take the flack if things go wrong – very important these days – rearrange flights when schedules change or re-book you to another destination if there is a political or natural disaster.
