MEXICO
Scuba diving reports

Mexico is one of the world's most diverse countries for scuba diving. The eastern side of the country sits in the Caribbean Sea and is the location of the Great Western Barrier Reef. This is the second largest of the world's barrier reefs and runs alongside the Yucatán Peninsula. This is where you can also dive in the fascinating freshwater cenotes – shallow, underground caves formed by ancient rivers.

Over on the far west of the country and into the Pacific Ocean, the diving is very different as this is the location of two of the world's best destinations for big animal encounters.
